Q: What harm has magic done to you?

A: More than what it has done to me, is about what it has done to others, it makes you pretend you are something that you are not, and it gives people false hope at all levels.

Many magicians don't realize (or maybe don't want to) that several adult people actually believe some magicians have divine powers or some sort demonic influences (no joking), many of them ask me that question, up to the point that even some people think Jesus was just a magician, which this art more than helping people, it has been deviating them within what it really is the limits of a trick and the difference of a miracle. Nowadays, many magicians dare to call tricks miracles as if they really were, and most of them really mean it.

This kind of ignorance is intolerable and truth should be available to everyone. I know is available at some price, but because of that, is not possible for everyone.

I know so many magic tricks, that instead of getting destroyed, it cultivates me more and approach me more into it. So no, the more you know it doesn’t necessarily mean it gets destroyed; by the fact that when you know more, you forget others in the process too. Magicians need to understand that there is a lot of susceptible people out there, regardless the ethnic group, culture, academic degree, etc.
